Find out why I will never buy wine from
Charles B Mitchell Vineyards or J. Foster
Mitchell Winery...

Read all about it.

Wine News you need to know!

House Resolution 1161, known as the Community Alcohol Regulatory Effectiveness Act, is presently sitting in Congress. If passed, it would significantly inhibit our ability to buy the wines we want.

Please take five minutes of your time to read this article and take the actions suggested at the end. It is simply wrong for those in power to limit our ability to drink great wine in order to benefit the distribution monopolies supporting this bill. Thank you for your support.

It's very simple... Click on a month to see the best wineries and events in the Sierra Foothills, decide where you want to go and what event you would like to attend.

"Harvest Expansion Sale"

2011 has been another banner year for FEW! My wines are better than ever and now is your chance to stock up your wine cellar. Thanks to you, we are going to expand our wine production even more, starting with this harvest season.

Just like last year, we are discounting all of our wines to the same low price as our restaurants and wine bars.  That is a 33% discount. Wine Club members get another 10% off of that price! That is a whopping 43% discount on all Findleton El Dorado and Amador wines and a very strong reason to join our wine club.

Please feel free to come by for a tasting, we are open this Friday - Saturday - Sunday and this Monday 11AM - 5PM.

No plans for the holiday?

Awesome Free Outdoor Concert - this Sunday 3PM-7PM - Renegade -A Tribute To STYX
& The Great Rock Classics - Invite your friends.....tell them that you got a FEW passes to the
#1 BEST COVER BAND! Just Nominated for a 2011 SAMMIE AWARD!

FEW never charges for our concerts because our customers would rather spend their money buying FEW wine during the concerts. Only $20 per bottle and we loan you the glasses too! That is like getting a free bottle of wine with every concert! Remember, our wine sales pay for the bands.....no outside alcohol allowed! Our license is for only alcohol that is made on the premises, and only FEW pays for these concerts. All Findleton El Dorado and Amador wines are on sale, limit 5 cases per customer. Sale ends with Labor Day September 5th, 2011.

Thank you all for making this our best year ever. Cheers!

Sep 11th

Toast the heroes of 9-11 with a great glass of wine from Cantiga Wineworks.

Dear Friends,

As you know, this Sunday marks the 10th anniversary of the 9/11 disaster that left such a dramatic and permanent mark on this nation, and on the world. So that we will always remember those who lost their lives in this tragedy, the day has been designated National Day of Service and Remembrance.
This year, more than 1 million Americans are expected to serve in their communities in honor of 9/11. Service projects will range from food drives to neighborhood cleanups and disaster preparation activities. One thing that stands out in our own memories of that day is the immediate, effective response of the Red Cross, and we would like to honor the part they played.
Our tasting room will be open as usual this Sunday, September 11, and to mark this day we will be donating 10% of our sales to the American Red Cross, to support their Disaster Relief work. If you plan to visit us that day, we will also be prepared to collect your individual donations, should you wish to do so. If you prefer to donate directly, you may visit: American.RedCross.org.

Thanks for all that you do!
