Avio Vineyards

Allison and I were passing through Sutter Creek (Amador County) when we discovered a winery called Avio Vineyards. The Tasting room is set up really nice and the scenery from the back of the house where they hold weddings and events is absolutely breath taking.

All of their wines are very well balanced. Our favorite is the Pinot Grigio and the Barbera. We had the privilege of having our wines poured by Stefano the wine maker / owner. He was very courteous of his guests, making sure everyone had the attention they needed and everyone was comfortable.

Stefano is very proud of his wines and winery and has every right to be, they are truly wonderful. We will be visiting Avio again for sure…
